Worth the money

Pottery Barn Kids sells a crib nearly identical to this one for a few hundred dollars...but why buy it? This crib has been wonderful. We haven't had one problem with it and it's very attractive. The cost couldn't be better, so we won't feel guilty when it's time to get rid of it. This crib looks like it has a lot of life left to it, I am VERY pleased with the purchase and the matching changing table.

I am very very pleased!

Like another reviewer, I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 only because I have not had the baby yet. This crib is very easy to put together even if you only give a glance to the directions. It also was amazingly solid. I did leave off the wheels since our floors are tile and I didn't want it moving around, but FYI they happen to be white also so they would have looked nice on unlike some other cribs I saw. I did not expect to find a crib of such good quality, that looks so nice, for so low a price. I don't have any problems with odor like a few of the reviewers, and my nose is pretty sensitive right now. It smells faintly woody, but that is all. I also don't have any problems mattress wise since we were given a mattress that just happens to fit perfectly. If I had any problem, it is that my belly won't let me bend over very well and I had trouble reaching in to put the crib sheet on the mattress. I'm pretty sure that is me though, and not the crib!

This crib is very easy to put together & is made sturdy.

The only problem is it was delivered with the headboard cracked. We have contacted Babies R Us & they are sending us a new headboard.
