Very cool |
| This item is great for simple drag and drop onto other people's computers without having to worry about installing software or anything like that. Worked on a mac flawlessly as well. Very cool looking and also very handy for switching from one card to another if you use two XD cards a lot like we do (one 128 and one 256). |

Very Handy Gadget |
| This works great with Windows XP for me. Much easier than having to read a card still in the camera. I also have a DPC - R1 Fine Pix USB Image Memory Card Reader, but that one also reads SmartMedia and is therefore much larger. This is the size of a regular USB flash drive (and you can use it as a USB flash drive as well with an XD card inserted...nice dual use for this device). I agree with others who said the cap could have been made to be a little more snug fit. Cool see through look though. |

This is a sexy xD card reader from Fuji. The clear shell and carrying capsule comes with a wrist strap. Unique sliding lock prevents card from slipping out once inserted into reader. Fully compatible with the new 1GB xD card (even though the box says maximum size is 512MB -- it must be old text). Bright green LED glows to show proper connection and flashes when the card is accessed.
The only bad thing about this card is that it runs at USB 1.1 speed only, not the ultra-fast USB 2.0. So if you need to download lots of photos or very large videos, be prepared to wait for the files to transfer. Other than that, a terrific tiny good looking xD reader! |
