Great Deal for the Money |
You really get your money's worth with this setup. It's simple, easy to set up and even easier to use. My beef was that (perhaps because my unit was not working right) while it's advertised to decode DTS from DVDs, I could never get that function to work. Instead of DTS I got...silence.
Well, maybe it's me. However, it's supposed to be a "no-brainer" setup, sooo... |

| System was delivered over night. Instructions were easy to follow. The only problem was you need to purchase a few cables not included. Although the speaker wire included is thin it works fine. The one coxial cable included is extremly short so probably won't work for many set ups. But we loved the effect of the system. We are not gaget gurus so it plenty of sound for us. The only thing that is a hurdle is getting it to work with regular tv shows. It only gives instructions on how to hook it up to the DVD player or VCR, any other component you're on your own. |

| This Sony home theater system I purchased at Radio Shack. It works very well. Sound Quality is Excellent. The only complaint I have is that the remote can only operate the video equipment. It does not operate the CD player and the tape deck that I have it connected to. The remote model number is RM-U66. It has Dolby Pro Logic II and DTS Surround Sound. I recommend that for the price, this is a great system. |
